2016 winner of the Pure Potential Career Guidance Award announced

Congratulations to Theophilus Shenbanjo of Haberdashers' Aske's Hatcham College in New Cross who won the 2016 National Career Guidance Award at the annual Pure Potential Awards. It was presented to him in National Careers Week by Hazel Garvey, Director of Business Development at ICAEW. On receiving the accolade he said “I wanted to take a moment to extend my most sincere thanks for recognising my work and awarding me the Career Guidance Award, you have no idea how happy I was when I received the email that I was shortlisted and to go on to win was a real pleasure, my school and students are ecstatic and I am more determined than ever to continue inspiring, motivating and guiding young people so they have the knowledge, skills and attributes needed to enter and thrive in the working world”. Theophilus was shortlisted alongside Elizabeth Bryan (Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form College), Jenny Kirk, (Northumberland Park Community School) and Jeremy Day (Ernest Bevin College).
