Careers engagement: a good practice brief for leaders of schools and colleges is a joint production by NFER, ASCL, ATL and the 157 Group of colleges.  Its publication is timely following hot on the heels of the revised statutory giuidance. The partners want schools to go further than simply doing the minimum in response to the guidance. They stress the vital importance to young people, our society and economy of providing high quality careers education and guidance. 

The guide outlines how to:

  • audit and establish CEIAG priorities
  • put into practice plans using some suggested methods and tools
  • review, evaluate and revise a plan.
